Practice Advisor Report

The Practice Advisor Report helps you to assess the overall financial health of your practice. The report shows practice details regarding production, collections, new patient analysis, continuing care, and schedule management for specific time periods.

Dentrix provides you with the tools for setting up the Practice Advisor and running, interpreting, and viewing reports:

·        Setting up the Practice Advisor - Set up how providers, adjustment types, payment types, benchmarks, the active patient base, and continuing care patients are used.

·        Assigning providers - Designates which providers will be hygienists and which will be dentists.

·        Assigning adjustment types - Designates which adjustment types will apply to collections and which to production.

·        Assigning payment types - Designates which payment types are over-the-counter and which are not.

·        Setting up production benchmarks - Designates the benchmarks (in whole dollar amounts or percentages) that will determine variances in and flag report information that needs to be addressed for increased profitability.

·        Setting up other benchmarks - Designates the benchmarks (in whole dollar amounts or percentages) that will determine variances in and flag report information that needs to be addressed for increased profitability.

·        Schedule management - Shows Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for schedule management.

·        Variance calculations - Provides an overview of how data variances are calculated.

·        Graphs - Shows Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for production, collections, new patient analysis and/or schedule management.

·        Dentist detail - Shows the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for production, new patient analysis, and/or schedule management for each dentist on the report.

·        Hygienist detail - Shows the Key Performance Indicators (KPI for production and/or schedule management for each hygienist on the report.

·        Recommendation footnotes - Prints a separate page or pages of recommendations that correspond to the symbols that flag KPI statistics that are not within a benchmark.

·        Viewing reports generated previously - Provides instructions on how to view reports that have already been generated.
