Graphs
If you selected Include Graphs for Production, Include Graphs for Collections, Include Graphs for New Patient Analysis, and/or Include Graphs for Schedule Management when setting up options for the report in the Practice Advisor Report dialog box, the report will include an extra page or pages with the graphs that show Key Performance Indicators for Production, Collections, New Patient Analysis and/or Schedule Management. For details about how to generate the report, see Running the Practice Advisor Report.
PRODUCTION - Average Daily Production
This is a graphical representation of the average daily production figures under Practice Totals, Dentist Totals, and Hygienist Totals in the PRODUCTION section of the report.
The bar graph displays the following data:
· Previous Month - The practice's Average Daily Production, Dentist Average Daily Production, and Hygienist Average Daily Production for the previous month.
· This Month - The practice's Average Daily Production, Dentist Average Daily Production, and Hygienist Average Daily Production since the beginning of the current month.
· YTD - The practice's Average Daily Production, Dentist Average Daily Production, and Hygienist Average Daily Production since the beginning of the year.
· Benchmark – The Average Daily Production benchmark set up in the Benchmarks Setup dialog box (see Setting up production benchmarks).
PRODUCTION - Ratio of Tx Case Acceptance
This is a graphical representation of the Amount of Treatment Accepted percentages under Case Acceptance Totals in the PRODUCTION section of the report.
The bar graph displays the following data:
· Previous Month - The Amount of Tx Accepted for the previous month.
· This Month - The Amount of Tx Accepted since the beginning of the current month.
· YTD - The Amount of Tx Accepted since the beginning of the year (fiscal or calendar).
· Benchmark – The Amount of Tx Accepted benchmark set up in the Benchmarks Setup dialog box (see Setting up production benchmarks).
COLLECTIONS - Ratio of A/R to Production
This is a graphical representation of the A/R to Production figures under Practice Totals in the COLLECTIONS section of the report.
The bar graph displays the following data:
· Previous Month - The A/R for the previous month.
· This Month - The A/R for the current month.
· Benchmark – The A/R benchmark set up in the Benchmarks Setup dialog box (see Setting up other benchmarks).
Note: It is preferred that the A/R be below the benchmark. Most consultants recommend that your accounts receivable be no more than 1.5 to 2 times the monthly production.
COLLECTIONS - Ratio of A/R Over 90 Days
This is a graphical representation of the A/R over 90 days (% AR) percentages under Practice Totals in the COLLECTIONS section of the report.
The bar graph displays the following data:
· Previous Month - The A/R over 90 days for the previous month.
· This Month - The A/R over 90 days for the current month.
· Benchmark – The A/R over 90 days benchmark set up in the Benchmarks Setup dialog box (see Setting up other benchmarks).
Note: It is preferred that the A/R be below the benchmark. Most consultants recommend that your accounts receivable be no more than 1.5 to 2 times the monthly production.
COLLECTIONS - Ratio of Collections to Production
This is a graphical representation of the Adjusted Collections (% Adj Production) and Over-the-counter Collections (% Production) percentages under Practice Totals in the COLLECTIONS section of the report.
The bar graph displays the following data:
· Previous Month - The Adjusted Collections and Over-the-Counter Collections for the previous month.
· This Month - The Adjusted Collections and Over-the-Counter Collections for the current month.
· YTD - The Adjusted Collections and Over-the-Counter Collections for the current year (fiscal or calendar).
· Benchmark – The Adjusted Collections and Over-the-Counter Collections benchmarks set up in the Benchmarks Setup dialog box (see Setting up other benchmarks).
NEW PATIENT ANALYSIS - Ratio of Tx Amt Accepted, New Patients
This is a graphical representation of the Tx Amount Accepted, New Patients percentages under Practice Totals in the NEW PATIENT ANALYSIS section of the report.

· Previous Month - The # of New Patients Referred BY Patient, # of New Patients Referred BY Doctor/Person, and # of New Patients Referred BY Marketing for the previous month.
· This Month - The # of New Patients Referred BY Patient, # of New Patients Referred BY Doctor/Person, # of New Patients Referred BY Marketing since the beginning of the current month.
· YTD - The # of New Patients Referred BY Patient, # of New Patients Referred BY Doctor/Person, # of New Patients Referred BY Marketing since the beginning of the year.
· Benchmark – The # of New Patients Referred BY Patient, # of New Patients Referred BY Doctor/Person, # of New Patients Referred BY Marketing benchmarks set up in the Benchmarks Setup dialog box (see Setting up other benchmarks).
Note: A marketing referral source is a doctor/other referral that has been flagged as a non-person (the Non-person check box is selected).
CONTINUING CARE - % of Patients Due who have Appt
This is a graphical representation of the # of Patients Due with Appt Scheduled percentages under CC Due in the CONTINUING CARE section of the report.
This bar graph displays the following data:
· Prior Overdue - The # of Patients Due with Appt Scheduled before the previous month.
· Due in Previous Month - The # of Patients Due with Appt Scheduled in the previous month.
· Due This Month - The # of Patients Due with Appt Scheduled since the beginning of the current month.
· Due Next Month - The # of Patients Due with Appt Scheduled next month.
SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT - Revenue Lost from Broken Appointments
This is a graphical representation of the Revenue Lost from the Broken Appointments figures under Practice Totals in the SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT section of the report.
The bar graph displays the following data:
· Previous Month - The Revenue Lost from Broken Appointments for the previous month.
· This Month - The Revenue Lost from Broken Appointments since the beginning of the current month.
· Next Month - The Revenue Lost from Broken Appointments for next month.
SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT - Value of Unfilled Hours
