The Accounts toolbar

The Accounts toolbar is a collection of buttons that you can click to initiate commands.

Function

Select Patient

Click to select a patient.

Batch Payments

Click to enter a stack or collection of payments.

Search Payments

Click to search for payments by check or bank number, amount, payment date or type, and account or insurance carrier name.

View Family Transactions

Click to list all transactions for a family in the transaction log.

Include History Transactions

Click to show transactions that have been moved to history in the transaction log.

Show Transaction Links

Click to show what transactions are related to one another.

View Account Detail

Click to expand the account details area.

Enter Payment

Click to apply payments to your patients' accounts.

Enter Adjustment

Click to make payment adjustments to your accounts.

Enter Tax/Discount

Click to calculate and apply taxes or based on the current date's charges or a procedure date.

Enter Finance Charge/Late Charge

Click to calculate and create finance charge entries for all accounts meeting criteria that you set.

Enter Procedure

Click to link all charges to specific ADA procedure codes.

Dental Diagnostics-Attach to Procedure(s)

Click to attach diagnostic codes to completed procedures.

Patient Diagnoses

Click to add a diagnostic code to a patient without associating it with a procedure code.

Create Insurance Claim

Click to create insurance claims.

Easy Checkout

Click to collect payments, generate insurance claims, and print receipts.

Quick Letters

Click to create and customize letters for your patients.

Quick Labels

Click to print a variety of labels for patients.

Send Message

Click to create and send electronic mail messages

Account Notes

Click to enter notes specific to a family's account and financial standing with your practice.

Billing/Payment Plan

Click to create payment plans.

Future Due Payment Plan

Click to create future due payment plans.

CareCredit

Click to open the CareCredit portal. You must first obtain a Merchant ID (MID) from CareCredit for each provider in your practice who wants to provide this service to his or her patients. You can then set up CareCredit.

Month End

Click to open the Month End menu from which you can apply finance and late charges, set up future due payment plans, and run month-end updates.

Print

Click to open the Print menu from which you can print reports, walkout statements, and single billing statements.

Setup

Click to open the Setup menu from which you can set up Easy Checkout options, tax and discount options, and Accounts and treatment plan colors.

Patient Alerts

Click to create patient alerts.

Refresh

Click to update the items contained in the Accounts window.

EasyWeb

Click to display the EasyWeb toolbar.
