Dentrix Pay is credit card transaction processing native to Dentrix that you can use to process charges and credits by inserting, swiping, or tapping a credit card. You can process credit and debit cards through Worldpay, Inc., a third-party credit card merchant processor.
To use Dentrix Pay, you must have internet access and a compatible Ingenico or Verifone payment device from Worldpay, Inc. Worldpay uses payment devices that support EMV-chip technology in payment cards and mobile payment applications that use NFC (Near Field Communication).
Dentrix G7.2 or later (Some features of Dentrix Pay may require later versions of Dentrix).
Windows 11 (As of October, 2025, Microsoft ended support of Windows 10).
An active Worldpay Merchant account.
A PIN Pad device from Worldpay or Henry Schein One. Supported devices include:
Ingenico Lane3600 (Worldpay does not offer the capacitive touchscreen version of this device. An ePad device is required for signatures. Dentrix Sales can help you acquire these devices.)
Ingenico Lane3000 (No longer sold)
Ingenico Lane5000 (No longer sold)
Verifone Vx805 (No longer sold)
triPOS software and device drivers are installed by Dentrix Support to each workstation that has a credit card device attached.

Once you have set up your Worldpay account, you can enable and set up Dentrix Pay in the Office Manager.
