The toolbar contains several buttons that you can click to access certain areas or features of Dentrix Enterprise.
Note: You can customize the toolbar to display, hide, or reposition buttons.
The function of each button on the toolbar is explained in the following table.

Click to select a patient and open the More Information window for that patient. |

Click to open the Updox Secure Messaging Application window to manage your secure messages. |

Click to open the ePrescribe window to run reports about your electronic prescriptions, to access tools and resources to help you with electronic prescriptions, to manage your AllScripts account settings and preferences, and to review your electronic prescriptions. |

Click to open the Patient Health Exchange Inbox dialog box to handle DIRECT messages that have been received. |

With a billing statement and/or a batch of billing statements selected, click to send the statements to a clearinghouse to have them mailed for you. |

Click to open the Electronic Claims Submission dialog box to submit dental and/or medical insurance claims electronically. |

Click to open the Create Batch Primary Insurance Claims dialog box to generate multiple claims for procedures posted within a specified date range |

Click to open the Dentrix Print Preview window to display the reports that are selected in the Batch Processor. |

Click to send the reports that are selected in the Batch Processor to the default printer for Office Manager. |

Click to open the Delete Options dialog box to delete all or certain reports. |

Click to deselect any reports that are selected in the Batch Processor. |

Click to open the Day Sheet dialog box to generate a day sheet. Note: You can also generate the day sheet by expanding the Reports menu, pointing to Management, and then clicking Day Sheet (Charges and Receipts). |

Click to open the Referral Analysis dialog box to monitor referrals or enter gratuities. |

Click to view and manage collections information and to contact patients. |

Click to select a patient and open the Medical History Review dialog box to do the following: view the patient’s medical alerts, medications, and allergies; specify if there has been a change in any of those since the patient’s last visit; specify the patient’s pain level (according to the selected scale), and enter notes to describe the pain; change the patient's smoking status; and/or specify if you have reviewed the patient's medical alerts. Note: This button is available only if a certain global setting is enabled. |
