With Axia, you can process credit card payments in Dentrix Enterprise. The credit card processing features of Dentrix Enterprise are available as an add-on. To get this add-on, you must purchase a license from Axia (Axia is the third-party provider of the credit card processing service). You must also purchase compatible Ingenico credit card readers.
To get started using Axia for credit card processing in Dentrix Enterprise, you must complete the following steps:
Install Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 or later.
Purchase the credit card processing add-on by contacting your sales representative.
Get the location ID of each clinic that will use Axia.
Enroll in credit card processing through Axia.
Set up the integration settings for Axia in Dentrix Enterprise.
Create or modify the payment types (in the Practice Definitions) that you want to use for processing credit cards through Axia.
Create or modify the adjustment types (in the Practice Definitions) that you want to use for processing credit card refunds or voids through Axia.
