By default, the Dentrix Patient Chart window always opens in the Work Chart layout. The Work Chart layout is divided into four major areas: the Graphic Chart, the Progress Notes, the Procedure Buttons, and the Procedure Codes. From the Work Chart layout, you can enter treatment and conditions, chart existing and completed work, and manage treatment plans. You can also customize the Work Chart layout to fit your preferences. For example, you can modify the color scheme, reposition or hide the panels, and customize the toolbars.
To change to the Work Chart layout
1. Select a patient.
2. If you have changed the Patient Chart to the Full Screen Chart, Progress Notes, or Treatment Planner layouts, click View, point to Chart Layout, and then click Work Chart.
The Work Chart layout appears.
