Note: The Appointment Requests in Patient Engage Live function the same as in Patient Engage. Changes in appointment requests are synchronized with all users in both versions of Patient Engage.
Shortly after a new appointment request is made by a client, you will see a banner notification on your desktop notifying you of the submission:
Note: Depending on your system settings, notifications may include an alert sound, not appear (or be dismissed), or appear as a "non-prioritized" task. This may result from your computer's system settings. Windows users can configure their Notification & Actions Settings. For more information, see the Troubleshooting topic.
Appointment requests that appear in Patient Engage Live display important information to help you prioritize and manage your requests:
· Requested Provider Field - The provider selected for this appointment request.
· Request Date - The date that the office received the request. The time-stamp turns red when an appointment has been requested but unmanaged for over 48 hours.
· Requested Appointment Detail - The date for which the patient has requested an appointment and the appointment details.
· Management Tools - A menu that displays options for managing a request.
· Appointment Request Flag - A flag appears when the appointment request has been flagged for review by a user.
When you position your mouse pointer over the name and detail on a request, the patient's contact information appears. This is an easy way to verify that you are scheduling an appointment in your practice management system for the correct patient. You can also use this information to get in touch with a patient regarding an appointment, such as to reschedule.
You can perform the following tasks to manage appointment requests:
· Accept an appointment request
· Reschedule an appointment request
· View details of an appointment request
· Add a note to an appointment request
· Delete an appointment request
· Sort and filter appointment requests
