Viewing your clinician details or setting up your PIN

You can view your clinician details for electronic prescriptions. You can also set or change your PIN for the electronic prescribing for controlled substances (EPCS).

To view your clinician details or set/change your PIN

1. While entering, reprinting, or reordering a patient's electronic prescription or while viewing your electronic prescription notifications, your name and a lock icon appear.

   

2. Do any of the following:

   • To view your clinician details, click (or tap) your name, which is a link. Then, click (or tap) OK.

     

   • To set your PIN, click the lock icon . Enter a four-digit PIN in the first box, and then re-enter the PIN in the second box. Then, click (or tap) OK.

     

   • To change your PIN, click the lock icon . Enter your current four-digit PIN in the first box, enter a new PIN in the second box, and then re-enter the new PIN in the third box. Then, click (or tap) OK.
