Treatment Plan Case Setup section

The Treatment Plan Case Setup section on the Navigation panel displays the treatment plan cases that have been created for a patient. As you select a case in the list, the other sections (except for Settings) on the panel and the case details are updated to reflect the information for the selected case.

The function of each button on the Treatment Plan Case Setup section toolbar is explained in the following table.

Description

New Case

Click to create a new treatment plan case you can use to group treatment-planned procedures.

Delete Case

Click to delete the selected treatment plan case. If you delete the default treatment plan case, another default case will be created will all procedures that are not assigned to another case. This button is available only if a case is selected.

Link Alternate Cases

Click to link alternate treatment plan cases together so that, when one of the cases is accepted, the others are automatically rejected. You can also set the recommended case. This button is available only if a case is selected.

Update Case Status

Click to change the status of the selected treatment plan case. This button is available only if a case is selected.

Set Case Severity

Click to specify a severity for the selected treatment plan case. This button is available only if a case is selected.

No Consent Forms

If there are no consent forms attached to the selected case, click to add a consent form(s) to the selected case.

Case Has Unsigned Consent Forms

If the selected case has at least one unsigned consent form, click to sign the consent form(s).

Consent Forms Missing Signature

If the selected case has at least one consent form that is missing one of the two required signatures, click to sign the consent form(s).

All Consent Forms Have Been Signed

If all the consent forms for the selected case have been signed, click to view the signatures.

Move Case Up / Move Case Down

Click the Move Case Up button to move the selected case up one place in the list. Click the Move Case Down button to move the selected case down one place in the list. These buttons are available only if there is more than one case and a case is selected (but if the first or last case is selected, one of buttons will be unavailable).

Print

Click to select a Treatment Planner report you want to print: the Treatment Case Report, Patient Treatment Case Report, or Practice Treatment Case Report.

Expand All

Click to view all the treatment-planned procedures for every case in the list.

Collapse All

Click to show only the name and date of every case in the list.

You also have the following options at the bottom of the Treatment Plan Case Setup section:

Include Completed Cases - Selecting this option includes completed treatment plan cases in the case list.

Include Rejected Cases - Selecting this option includes rejected treatment plan cases in the case list.

Create Visit - With a procedures that have not been assigned a visit number selected, clicking this button creates a new visit that is given the next available number for the corresponding case.

Delete Visit - With a procedures that have been assigned a visit number selected, clicking this button deletes the visit from the corresponding case.
