Viewing or editing dental insurance claims overview

When a dental insurance claim is created, a standard set of information is used to fill out the claim. If you need to add non-standard information to a dental insurance claim, you can edit the claim information in the insurance claim window.

The insurance claim window consists mainly of boxes (blocks) and lists that display the following information: subscriber and patient information, claim providers, standard/non-standard claim information, diagnostic codes, procedures, a financial summary, insurance payments, insurance adjustments, claim statuses, and the insurance plan note.

Notes:

Creating insurance claims requires the "Insurance Claims, Create New" security right.

Viewing insurance claims requires the "Insurance Claims, Open" security right.

Editing insurance claims requires the "Insurance Claims, Edit" security right.
