Document Center can store any important document, image, or other type of file that you may need to attach to a patient, provider, staff member, insurance carrier, employer, and/or referral. One way that you can add files to Document Center is by importing them from your computer's drive, a removable storage device, or another computer or storage device on your office's network.
When you import an image file (such as a .jpg or .png file), Document Center creates a single-page document. To acquire a multi-page document, you must acquire the first image and then add a pages separately for each additional image that you want to include as part of the same document. For details about how to add pages, see the topic about modifying documents.
Notes:
Document Center can store files of any type that is supported by Windows. However, you can preview only the types of files that Document Center supports the previewing of (such as .pdf, .jpg, .doc, .xls, and .ppt).
