Changing claim information

When you create an insurance claim, a standard set of information is used to fill out the claim. If you need to add non-standard information to a claim, you can edit the claim information from the Primary Dental Insurance Claim window. You can open the Primary Dental Insurance Claim window from the Ledger in one of the following ways:

·        Double-click an existing claim.

·        If you have not yet created a claim for procedures posted on the current date, from the Insurance menu, click Today’s Procedures.

·        If you have not yet created a claim for procedures posted on a day other than the current date, select the procedure or procedures, then from the Insurance menu, click Selected Procedures.

The Primary Dental Insurance Claim window consists of the following blocks:

·        Subscriber Information

·        Billing Provider

·        Claim Information

·        Procedure Information

·        Payment Information

·        Adjustment Information

·        Claim status notes

·        Insurance Plan Note

·        Remarks for Unusual Services
