Dentrix Pay grants your patients the ability to electronically sign
credit card receipts and consent forms with an electronic signature
device. However, you must first select the device as a Dentrix signature
device, and then you must activate Dentrix Pay to accept signatures from
it.

Key Information
Dentrix works with most signature devices, such as ePadLink's
ePad, ePad II, and ePad Vision. If you have any
of these three devices, you can select
Interlink ePad or
Interlink ePadII in the Office Manager's preferences
dialog box because all three devices use the same software and
drivers. (For more information about these ePads, visit
ePadLink.)
You can download and install ePadLink's most recent drivers and
software from their
software and support site. Follow their directions for downloading and installing the
following (in order): first, the Universal Installer drivers,
and second, the IntegriSign Desktop software.
Some credit card PINpads have eSignature capabilities, allowing users
to sign for their credit card purchases on the PINpad itself. In such
cases, choose Credit Card Device as the signature
device in the preferences window, and you must still check
Sign with Signature Device in Dentrix Pay Setup. This
type of device can also be used for signing Dentrix forms, such as
credit card and treatment consent forms.
You can move eSignature devices to any networked office computer.
However, they are workstation-specific. Therefore, for every Dentrix
Pay computer that utilizes an eSignature device, the device must be
connected to the computer, its software and drivers installed on that
computer, set as the Dentrix signature device, and activated in
Dentrix Pay Setup.
If an eSignature device is disconnected from a computer, it will
automatically disable the device from Dentrix Pay Setup on the
computer to which it was connected. To re-enable the device, reconnect
it to the computer, ensure that it's selected as the Dentrix signature
device, and check Sign with Signature Device in
Dentrix Pay Setup.
