Editing claims

Once you have created a claim, you can edit or delete the claim information.

To edit a claim

1.   Double-click the claim that you want to edit in the Ledger transaction log.

The Primary Dental Insurance Claim window appears.

2.   Make any desired changes.

3.   To view and/or modify the patient's insurance benefits and coverages, click Benefits/Cov.

4.   On the menu bar, click Submit.

The Submit Claim dialog box appears.

5.   Click one of the following:

·        Batch - Sends the claim to the Batch Processor.

·        Send Electronically - Sends the claim electronically using eTrans.

Note: You must register to use eServices eClaims before you can use this option.

·        Print - Prints the claim.

Important: Avoid exiting the Primary Dental Insurance Claim window without batching, sending, or printing a claim to prevent the claim from staying on the account without getting submitted.
