Deleting primary claims

You can use Dentrix to delete primary and secondary claims.

Notes:

·        You can delete a payment for a claim without deleting the claim.

·        If a claim has been paid and is now in history, you cannot delete it.

·        If you created a secondary claim, you must delete it before you can delete the primary claim.

To delete a primary claim

1.   Double-click the claim in the Ledger transaction log.

The Primary Dental Insurance Claim window appears.

2.   Click File, and then click Delete.

A message appears, cautioning that deleting the claim will also delete any attached payments.

3.   To continue with the deletion, click OK.
