Dentrix Imaging supports acquiring intraoral images using the DEXIS Titanium intraoral X-ray sensor using the GxPicture universal driver suite.
After installing the drivers and calibration files, you can test and/or troubleshoot the DEXIS Titanium sensor.
To set up GxPicture to use the DEXIS Titanium sensor
Important: When you reach steps 12 and 14, complete steps 2 and 3 cited here, and then continue installing GxPicture.
2. At step 12, in the Select Products screen, select IXS/DEXIS Titanium, and then click Next.
3. At step 14, in the GxFilter Setup dialog box, select DEXIS Titanium / IXS, and then click Set.
4. Click Finish.
5. If the following message box appears, click Yes to reboot your computer.
The KaVo IXS sensor icon appears in the system tray.
6. Connect the KaVo IXS sensor to the computer.
The calibration files download automatically. Do not disconnect the sensor from the computer until the download is complete.
Note: Typically, the calibration files download in a couple of minutes. Once the files are downloaded, you can use the sensor.
If the KaVo intraoral sensor icon is green, the sensor is ready to use.
