Printing treatment plans
You can print a treatment plan agreement for the patient to sign.
To print a treatment plan
1. On the Treatment Plans tab, right-click anywhere in the Treatment Plan section, point to Treatment Plan, and then click Print.
The Print Treatment Plan - Select Options dialog box appears.
2. Select any of the available attachment options: Tx Plan, Super Bill, and/or Narratives. The default statuses for these check boxes are set up in the Preferences dialog box.
3. Select any of the following options:
· Include Notes/Pre-Estimate Info - Select this check box if you want to group treatment plan items into phases and display the UCR fee. With this print option enabled, on the printed treatment plan, notes will appear below any of the treatment-planned procedures that have notes entered.
· List insurance estimates separately - Select this check box if you want to have primary (P), secondary (S), tertiary (T), and quaternary (Q) estimates listed separately under the Insr. Total (Est) column on printed treatment plans, with a P, S, T, or Q to the left of the estimate, as shown in this example:
If no insurance pays, $0.00 appears as the Insr.
Total (Est).
Note: You must also have the Include Notes/Pre-Estimate Info
option selected in Report
and Printing Preferences.
· Print only selected items - Select this check box to print only the highlighted procedures in the Treatment Plan section.
· Exclude Social Security Number - Select this check box to prevent the patient's Social Security number from printing.
· Exclude Appt/Phase Zero (0) - Select this check box to prevent phase zero from printing.
· Add Patient Name to all pages - Select this check box to print the patient name on all pages, instead of just on the first page.
· Add Practice (Location in) to all pages - Select this check box to print the practice information on all pages, instead of just on the first page.
The default statuses for these check boxes are set up in the Preferences dialog box.
4. Click OK.
If the Include Notes/Pre-Estimate Info check box is selected, the printed treatment plan items are grouped by appointment or phase, and include the subtotals of each phase (each pink line provides a subtotal of the preceding phase); otherwise, all treatment plan items are listed together.
