Viewing claim acknowledgments

You can view the list of claims that have been received (by network or carrier), that have been rejected (due to errors), or that require a manual claim to be submitted. You can then print a copy of any claim acknowledgment to give to the corresponding patient.

To view claim acknowledgments

1.   From the Report menu, point to Insurance, and then click Canadian Claims.

The Canadian Claims window appears.

2.   On the Control Panel, under Electronic Responses, click the Claim Acknowledgment link.

The Claim Acknowledgments tab appears.

3.   Select a response, and then click the Open button to view a message regarding that response.

Tips:

·        To select multiple responses (to delete or print them), while holding down the Ctrl key, click each response that you want to select. Alternately, to select all responses in a range, click a response, and then, while holding down the Shift key, click another response.

·        To search for a response, select a Search By option, and then begin typing the text that you want to search For. The first response that matches your search criteria is selected automatically. Click the Previous or Next button to select the previous or next response that matches (if any), respectively.

4.   Click OK to view the corresponding claim acknowledgment.
