Setting up location preferences
You can set up carrier preferences.
To set up carrier preferences
1. From the Report menu, point to Insurance, and then click Canadian Claims.
The Canadian Claims window appears.
2. On the Control Panel, under Setup, click the Locations link.
The Locations tab appears.
3. Select
a location, and then click the Open
button to open a Location
- "[Location Name]" tab.
Tips:
· To select multiple locations (to view their settings on separate tabs), while holding down the Ctrl key, click each location that you want to select. Alternately, to select all locations in a range, click a location, and then, while holding down the Shift key, click another location.
· To
search for a location, select a Search
By option, and then begin typing the text that you want to search
For. The first location that matches
your search criteria is selected automatically. Click the Previous
or Next button
to select the previous or next location that matches (if any), respectively.
4. Set up the following options:
· Directory - Select the directory where claims for this location will be stored.
· CDA Provider Number - Type a 9-character provider number that was assigned by the CDA. This will be the default for this location.
· Provider Office Number - Type the 4-character office number of a provider. This will be the default for this location.
· Billing Provider Number - Type a 9-character provider number that was assigned by the CDA. This will be the default for this location.
5. Click
the Save button .
