Handling incomplete requests
You can submit the claims, pre-determinations, and eligibility checks that have not been sent to the CDA. You can view claims, pre-determinations, and eligibility checks that have been received but not responded to by the CDA. Also, you can delete unsent claims, pre-determinations, and eligibility checks.
To handle incomplete requests
1. From the Report menu, point to Insurance, and then click Canadian Claims.
The Canadian Claims window appears.
2. On the Control Panel, under Electronic Requests, click the Incomplete Requests link.
The Incomplete Requests tab appears and displays claims, pre-determinations, and eligibility checks that have not been submitted to the CDA or responded to by the CDA (there is a polling process).
3. Select a request, and then do any of the following:
· To submit
the request, click the Open button
. This buttons is available only if the status of
the selected request is “Not yet submitted.”
· To delete
the request, click the Delete
button . The button is available only if the status
of the selected request is “Not yet submitted.”
Tips:
· To select multiple requests, while holding down the Ctrl key, click each request that you want to select. Alternately, to select all requests in a range, click a request, and then, while holding down the Shift key, click another request.
· To
search for a request, select a Search
By option, and then begin typing the text that you want to search
For. The first request that matches
your search criteria is selected automatically. Click the Previous
or Next button
to select the previous or next request that matches (if any), respectively.
