Rescheduling or copying appointments
You can reschedule or copy an appointment for another date, time, and column.
To reschedule or copy an appointment
1. In the Appointment Book, right-click an appointment, and then click Reschedule/Copy.
The Reschedule/Copy dialog box appears.
2. Change any of the following options as needed:
· Provider – Select the treating provider.
· Units – Enter the time units for the length of the appointment.
· Comments – Type any comments regarding the reason for moving the appointment.
3. To leave the existing appointment and create a copy of the appointment at a different date and time, select the Make Copy check box. To move the appointment to the new date and time, clear this check box.
4. Do one of the following:
· Select a time slot of a column on the desired date, click Finish to reschedule or copy the appointment to the selected time slot.
· Click Search to search for an open time to reschedule or copy the appointment.
Tip: If the Moving/Copying Appts. by Dragging setting in Appointment Book Preferences is set up to allow it, you can reschedule an appointment by dragging the appointment to another time slot on the same day. A message appears and asks if you want to change the provider.
