ClinicalVision preference

The link to ClinicalVision is controlled by a preference you can set up.

To set up the preference

From the Utilities menu, click Preferences.

The Preferences dialog box appears.

On the Charting tab, from the Version list, select Clinical Vision.

Specify the default Primary Dentition Age.

Select CV DV missing tooth chart matching if you want ClinicalVision to sync with OMSVision so that missing teeth match.

Note: For an explanation of how the matching is done, click here.

Under CV DV missing tooth chart matching, select Remove CV from memory when not in use if you want ClinicalVision removed from your computer's memory when not in use for a while. If this option is selected, ClinicalVision could take longer to load when opened after being idle. If you use ClinicalVision constantly in your office, it is not recommended that this option be selected.

Specify which providers will be loaded when opening ClinicalVision to match missing teeth:

Load all Providers - Requires the most memory.

Load Only Providers Associated with the Selected Patient - Requires less memory.

Select Provider when opening CV - Requires the least memory.

Select the minimum security level required for OMSVision users to do the following tasks within ClinicalVision:

Edit template/ShortCut

Edit Practice Settings

Allow Note Lock

Edit Note Templates

Edit Location Settings

Edit Scope Settings

Show # of Notes

Click Ok.
