Logging in
Each person in your office should have his or her own user account to log in and out. The access and rights that each user has to perform specific tasks in the program is determined by your office administrator.
Important: Everyday, you should open the program on the computer that is workstation 1 first to allow important system updates to occur before other computers access the program.
To log in
1. Double-click the EndoVision icon on the Desktop.
The Login dialog box appears.
2. Enter your user name and Password.
Note: When you open the program for the first time after you install it, you have not created any user names or passwords yet, so leave these fields blank. When you click OK , a dialog box will appear and state that the program is running in a demonstration mode, which means you have a limited number of logins. Contact a customer support representative to request that the program be changed out of demonstration mode before your trainer begins your training.
EndoVision does a quick verification that the user account exists. If it does, the right side of the Login box displays a green check mark icon.
If the user account does not exist, the right side of the Login box displays a red X icon.
3. From the Open To list, select the window you want to have open by default when you log in. Or, you can leave "<None>" selected. The selection you make is saved for the next time you attempt to log on. This preference is workstation-specific and Windows user-specific.
4. Click OK.
