Missing Teeth dialog box

You can indicate missing or extracted teeth so that you have an accurate record of the conditions present in a patient's mouth.

To indicate missing teeth

1.   On the Treatment Plans tab, right-click anywhere in the Treatment Plan section, and then click Missing Teeth.

The Missing Teeth dialog box appears.

This chart is updated automatically when an extraction is posted in the patient's Ledger.

2.   Click the teeth that are missing or extracted to remove them from the chart and add them to the list on the right. Previously extracted teeth associated with a Ledger entry are shown with a check mark.

Notes:

·        You can still post procedures to missing teeth if the code allows it.

·        For an extraction with a Ledger entry, the date of the extraction is shown but can be changed.

3.   When you are finished, click OK to save any changes.
