Adding signatures to EHR narratives

You can insert digital signatures fields into EHR narratives. Depending on how the digital signatures feature has been set up for a provider, a password may be required to mark the narrative as "complete" when it is reviewed by that provider.

To add signatures

1.   In the EHR Narrative Edit window, insert the text cursor in the document where you want a provider's signature to appear.

2.   Under EHR Case Fields on the left pane, open the following folders: Fields, Case Summary, Provider, and then Signature. Double-click Digital or Electronic to add that field to the narrative.
