Adding and editing narrative categories

You can add and edit the categories used to group narratives.

To add or edit a narrative category

1.   In the EHR Narratives window, do one of the following:

·        To add a new narrative template, click Add .

·        To edit an existing narrative template, select a narrative template, and then click Edit .

The EHR Narrative Edit window appears.

2.   From the File menu, click Open Template.

The Narrative Templates Table window appears.

3.   Click Categories.

The Narrative Categories window appears.

4.   Do one of the following:

·        To add a category, click Add.

·        To edit an existing category, select a category, and then click Edit.

The Edit Narrative Category dialog box appears.

5.   Set up the following options:

·        Name - Type the name for the category. This field has a limit of 50 characters.

·        Description - Type a description for the category.

6.   Click OK.
