Adding miscellaneous secondary shortcut items

A "Miscellaneous" shortcut type is available so that you can add a line item for performing a secondary procedure for a primary procedure that does not use a surface, root, or tooth range. For example, every time you chart a crown, you may want to include some other procedure you always do in conjunction with a crown.

To add a secondary procedure to a shortcut

1.   From the Shortcut Editor dialog box, after you have set up the shortcut for the primary procedure and added a new line item for the secondary procedure, select "Miscellaneous" as the Drawing type.

2.   Finish setting up the shortcut.

3.   Click Ok.
