Changing the length of appointments

You can change the default length of an appointment when you are scheduling appointments.

To change the length of an appointment

1.   In the Schedule toolbar, click the Schedule Appointment button.

The Select Patient dialog box appears.  

2.    Select the patient you want to schedule an appointment for, and then click OK.

The New Appointment Information dialog box appears.

3.   Click the min search button.

The Appointment Time Pattern dialog box appears.

4.   Click the  left arrow to decrease or the right arrow to increase the duration of the appointment.

Note: The “X” represents provider time. The slash (/) represents assistant time. The clear block represents chair time when neither the provider or assistant are present.

5.   Continue scheduling the appointment.
