Deleting patients
Consider the following information before deleting any patients:
· Make sure that the patient does not have any procedures posted to the Accounts or Treatment Plans modules.
· Make sure that no one in the family has insurance coverage linked to the patient that you are trying to delete.
· Make sure the account has a zero balance.
Note: If the patient you are trying to delete is the only member of a family, that patient is the guarantor. Instead of deleting the patient, you must delete the family.
To delete a patient
1. In the Patient Banner, click the Related Patients List down arrow.
The Related Patients List appears.
2. In the list, select the patient you want to delete.
3. In the toolbar, click the Delete button, and then click Delete Selected Patient.
The following warning appears.
4. To delete the patient, click Yes.
