Deleting families
Consider the following information before deleting a family:
· Make sure that the family does not have any procedures posted to the Accounts or Treatment Plans modules.
· Make sure that no one in the family has insurance coverage.
Note: You cannot delete a family if the family has a balance or any type of transaction including transactions in history. You can, however, archive patients with transactions or a balance.
To delete a family
1. Using Quick Search or Advanced Search, select the family that you want to delete.
2. In the Patients toolbar, click Delete.
3. In the menu, click Delete Family.
The following warning appears.
4. To delete the family, click Yes.
