You can customize facility codes as needed.
To customize Facility
In the IHS Standard Codes Definitions dialog box, in the Definition Type list, select Facility (SCB).
The corresponding definitions appear in the list to the right.
Do any of the following:
To add a definition, do the following:
Verify that the desired definition does not already exist.
Click Add.
The Facility Standard Code Book dialog box appears.
Set up the following options:
Code - The facility's code (up to seven characters in length).
Facility - The facility's description (up to 100 characters in length).
Service Unit - The service unit of the facility (up to 200 characters in length).
Area - The facility's area (up to 300 characters in length).
Click OK.
Note: The new definition appears in the list alphabetically by facility.
To edit a definition, do the following:
Select a definition.
Click Edit.
The Facility Standard Code Book dialog box appears.
Change any of the following options as needed:
Code - The facility's code (up to seven characters in length).
Facility - The facility's description (up to 100 characters in length).
Service Unit - The service unit of the facility (up to 200 characters in length).
Area - The facility's area (up to 300 characters in length).
Click OK.
To delete a definition, do the following:
Select a definition.
Click Delete.
A confirmation message appears.
Click Yes.
