You can delete treatment requests as needed. If you delete a request that is linked to an appointment, that request will be unlinked from that appointment.
Note: Deleting treatment requests requires the "Treatment Request, Delete" security right.
To delete treatment requests
Do one of the following:
In Treatment Request Manager, select one or more treatment requests, and then click the Delete Treatment Request button .
On the Treatment Requests tab of More Information, select one or more treatment requests, and then click the Delete Request(s) button .
If applicable, do one of the following:
If the Password - Treatment Request, Delete dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Treatment Request, Delete" task. Do one of the following:
If your user account has been granted the "Treatment Request, Delete" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.
If your user account has not been granted the "Treatment Request, Delete" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can delete the selected treatment requests this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Treatment Request, Delete" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can delete the selected treatment requests this one time, do the following:
On the message, click Yes.
In the Password - Treatment Request, Delete dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
A confirmation message appears.
Click Yes.
On the message that appears, click OK.
