In Dentrix Enterprise, you can define up to 999 different RVU schedules. To help you classify each RVU schedule, a short description can be assigned as the name for each schedule.
Important: Do not add or delete RVU schedules. If you need to add an RVU schedule, change the name of a blank one. If you need to delete an RVU schedule, remove the name.
To customize RVU Schedule Names
In the Practice Definitions dialog box, in the Definition Type list, select RVU Schedule Names.
The corresponding definitions appear in the list to the right.
Do any of the following:
To add a definition, do the following:
Select a definition without a name.
In the Definition Text box, enter a name (up to seven characters in length).
Click Change.
To edit a definition, do the following:
Select a definition with a name.
Note: Changing the definition for an RVU schedule affects all instances of that RVU schedule that have been assigned to providers, insurance carriers, and patients.
In the Definition Text box, change the nameĀ (which can be up to seven characters in length).
Click Change.
To delete a definition, do the following:
Select a definition with a name.
In the Definition Text box, delete the name.
Click Change.
Note: Because removing the name does not get rid of the RVU schedule, a different RVU schedule will need to be selected for any providers, insurance carriers, and patients that have this nameless RVU schedule assigned to them.
