You can define custom links to websites that will appear in the About Dentrix Enterprise dialog box, which you can access from the Help menu of any module. For example, links to the Resource Center and My Voice are provided by default. You can define up to 100,000 custom links.
To customize Custom Links
In the Practice Definitions dialog box, in the Definition Type list, select Custom Links.
The corresponding definitions appear in the list to the right.
Do any of the following:
If there are fewer than 100,000 definitions, to add a definition, do the following:
With any definition selected, under Definition Text, replace the existing brief description of the link (in the first box) and the existing website address of the link (in the second box).
Click Add.
Notes:
This button is available only if there are not already 100,000 definitions.
The new definition is added in the first available spot (if there are no gaps in the sequence, it will be the last item) and given an ID.
To edit a custom definition, do the following:
Select a custom definition.
Under Definition Text, replace the existing brief description of the link (in the first box) and/or the existing website address of the link (in the second box).
Click Change.
Note: The Change button is available only if a custom definition is selected. If a default system definition is selected, the button is labeled "Read Only" and is not available.
To delete a custom definition, do the following:
Select a custom definition.
Click Delete.
Note: The Delete button is available only if a custom definition is selected. If a default system definition is selected, the button is not available.
A confirmation message appears.
Click Yes.
