Allergy Reaction

You can have up to 99 allergy reactions, which you can attach to allergies.

To customize Allergy Reaction

In the Practice Definitions dialog box, in the Definition Type list, select Allergy Reaction.

The corresponding definitions appear in the list to the right.

Do any of the following:

If there are fewer than 99 definitions, to add a definition, do the following:

With any definition selected, replace the existing text (which can be up to 50 characters in length) in the Definition Text box.

Click Add.

Notes:

This button is available only if there are not already 99 definitions.

The new definition appears in the list alphabetically.

To edit a definition, do the following:

Select a definition.

Note: Changing the definition for an allergy reaction affects all patient records that have allergies with that allergy reaction attached.

Replace the existing text (which can be up to 50 characters in length) in the Definition Text box.

Click Change.

To delete a definition, do the following:

Select a definition.

Note: You cannot delete the definition for an allergy reaction that is associated with allergies that are attached to any patients' records.

Click Delete.

A confirmation message appears.

Click Yes.
