In the Enterprise Setup, you can add and edit clinic information for all clinics in your organization. You cannot delete a clinic.
Note: Accessing the Enterprise Setup requires the "Clinic Admin" security right.
To manage clinics
While logged in to the Central clinic, in Office Manager, expand the Maintenance menu, point to Practice Setup, and then click Enterprise Setup.
Note: This option is available only if you are logged in to the Central clinic.
If applicable, do one of the following:
If the Password - Clinic Admin dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Clinic Admin" task. Do one of the following:
If your user account has been granted the "Clinic Admin" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.
If your user account has not been granted the "Clinic Admin" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can access the Enterprise Setup this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Clinic Admin" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can access the Enterprise Setup this one time, do the following:
On the message, click Yes.
In the Password - Clinic Admin dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
The Enterprise Setup dialog box appears and lists all clinics that have been set up in Dentrix Enterprise.
Do any of the following:
To create a new clinic, click New. Enter the clinic information. Then, set up the clinic's operatories, providers, and staff.
To modify the settings for an existing clinic, select that clinic, and then click Edit. Change the clinic information.
To manage an existing clinic's operatories, providers, and staff, select that clinic, and then click Clinic Resource Setup.
