The Pinboard

You can place multiple appointments and events on the Pinboard where they can be viewed, moved, scheduled, rescheduled, or deleted. You can move one or more appointments to the Pinboard simply by dragging them, by clicking Pinboard in the Appointment Information dialog box, or by clicking Move to Pinboard from the Options menu.

Note: Dentrix continues to display the appointment on the Pinboard and in its original position, until you move the appointment to a new time, and confirm the move. While you can store as many appointments and events that you want on the Pinboard, storing more than 30 may prove impractical.

The Appointment icon contains the patient's first initial and the first four letters of the last name. If the patient is new, the letters NP appear in blue in the upper-right corner of the icon.
