Adding alert notes
You can set up a library of custom notes in Dentrix. These notes serve as templates that you can draw from. You can use the text of any note without changing it or customize it as needed, depending on the situation for which you are adding a note.
Dentrix includes a list of 17 pre-defined alert notes. You can create your own alert notes. You can also edit or delete any alert notes regardless of whether you created them or not. You can use alert notes to remind you of pre-existing medical conditions, discounts, account issues, and so on.
To add an alert note
1. From the Maintenance menu in the Office Manager, point to Practice Setup > Custom Notes, and then click Alert Notes Setup.
The Alert Notes Definitions dialog box appears.
2. In the Alert Note Text field, type the text for the new alert note.
3. Click Add.
The new alert note is added to the end of the list.
