Charting conditions

Since the Patient Chart is a clinical record of patient care, it must be completely accurate. To maintain an accurate clinical record, Dentrix allows you to chart a patient's conditions.

To chart a condition

1.   Select a patient.

2.   If necessary, change the patient's provider.

3.   From the Graphic Chart, click the tooth or teeth that you want to apply a condition to.

4.   In the Procedure Codes panel, click Conditions, and then from the list, click the condition or conditions that apply.

5.   In the Procedure Codes toolbar, click the Post button.

6.   In the Charting toolbar,click one of the status buttons.

The condition is added to the Progress Notes panel and CON appears in the Status column.
