Renaming credit card lanes

In Dentrix Ascend Pay, a lane is a unique pairing of a merchant account and a physical payment device. When you process credit card payments, you select a lane by name. You can rename any of the credit card lanes in a given location as needed.

To rename a lane

1. If you are not already viewing the correct location, select it on the Location menu.

2. On the Settings menu, under Location, select Credit Card Options.

   The Credit Card Options page opens.

3. Under Worldpay Accounts, expand an account to view the associated lanes.

   

4. Select a lane.

   The options to edit the lane become available.

   

5. In the Lane name box, change the short description that is used to identify the device in Dentrix Ascend. The name must be unique across all lanes in this location.

6. Click (or tap) Save.
