Processing credit card payments on the Worldpay OmniFlex website

If your office uses Dentrix Ascend Pay, you are automatically enrolled in Worldpay's premium OmniFlex service at no additional charge, so you can process credit card payments using the OmniFlex Virtual Terminal (https://www.virtualterminal.com)

Important: Any transactions that you process on the Worldpay OmniFlex website you must enter in Dentrix Ascend manually.

Notice: Worldpay has discontinued the Express Virtual Terminal on the Worldpay iQ website (https://www.accessmyiq.com).

To process a credit card payment

  1. Open the OmniFlex website (https://www.virtualterminal.com), and then click (or tap) Log In.

    The Log in page opens.

  2. Enter your Email and Password, and then click (or tap) Log in.

    Note: The email and password for OmniFlex may be different from the email and password for iQ.

    The Home page opens.

  3. On the navigation bar, expand Process Transaction, and then click (or tap) Credit Card. Or, if available, click (or tap) the Credit card tile under Process Transaction.

    The Process Credit Card page opens.

  4. Set up the following options:

    • Transaction Type - Select Sale.

    • Entry Type - Leave Manual Entry selected.

    • Amount - Enter the payment amount (required).

    • Card Number - Enter the card number (required).

    • Expiration Date - Enter the card's expiration date in a MM/YY format (required).

    • CVV - Enter the card's CVV Code.

    • Reference Number - For reporting purposes, enter the patient's name and transaction date (for example, "Crosby, Brent 10112021").

    • Billing Address - Expand this section, and then enter the cardholder's billing address.

      Tip: If the billing address is not known, submitting at least the ZIP Code will meet AVS requirements.

    • Receipt Details - Expand this section, and then add a description.

  5. Click (or tap) Submit.
