Deleting treatment plans
You can delete treatment plan cases as needed.
To delete a treatment plan

If the correct patient is not already selected, use the Patient Search box to access the patient's record.
Note: You can include inactive patients in the search results by setting the Include inactive patients switch to On.

Do one of the following:

On the Patient menu, under Clinical, click (or tap) Treatment Planner.

On the Patient menu, under General, click (or tap) Overview. The patient's Overview page opens. Click (or tap) the Treatment Plan box.
The patient's clinical record opens with the Tx Planner tab selected.

On the Tx Planner tab of a patient's clinical record, under Active, click (or tap) a case's Delete button (X).
The Delete [case name] message box appears.

Do one of the following:

To delete the case and all procedures contained therein, click (or tap) Delete Case and Procedures.

To delete the case but move all the procedures contained therein to the Unassigned category, click (or tap) Delete Case, Move Procedures to Unassigned.
Note: If any of the procedures are scheduled, deleting them or moving them to the Unassigned category removes them from the corresponding appointments. Also, if removing the procedures from appointments makes any of those appointments empty, the empty appointments remain scheduled on the calendar. On the message box, the dates of the affected appointments appear for your reference.
