Deleting credit card lanes

In Dentrix Ascend Pay, a lane is a unique pairing of a merchant account and a physical payment device. When you process credit card payments, you select a lane by name. You can delete any of the credit card lanes in a given location as needed.

To delete a lane

  1. If you are not already viewing the correct location, select it on the Location menu.

  2. On the Settings menu, under Location, select Credit Card Options.

    The Credit Card Options page opens.

  3. Under Worldpay Accounts, expand an account to view the associated lanes.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • To delete a lane without viewing its details first, click (or tap) the Delete button next to the name of the lane that you want to delete.

    • To delete a lane after viewing its details (for example, to verify that it is the lane that you want to delete), do the following:

      1. Select a lane.

        The details of the lane appear.

      2. Do one of the following:

        • Click (or tap) the Delete button next to the name of the selected lane in the Worldpay Accounts list.

        • Click (or tap) Delete Lane.

    A confirmation message appears.

  5. Click (or tap) Delete.
