Clocking out

If the time clock is enabled for your user account, you can clock out after you have clocked in.

Note: If you are currently clocked in, a blue ribbon with the text "Clocked In" appears below your user name.

To clock in

On the User menu, click (or tap) Clock In.

Notes:

  • Logging out of Dentrix Ascend or closing your browser does not clock you out.

  • If your location keeps extended hours or is open 24 hours a day, Dentrix Ascend does not pair punches that occur before and after 12 AM. As far as the time clock is concerned, a new day starts at 12 AM. If you are clocked in on a given day and do not clock out before the next day starts, there will be a missing punch in your time clock history.
