Changing a provider's color

As needed, you can change a provider's color, which is the color that is used for appointments with that provider as the rendering provider.

Note: Changing a provider's color affects not only the provider's appointments that will be scheduled in the future but the provider's appointments that are already on the calendar—past, present, and future.

To change a provider's color

  1. While you are adding or editing a provider's user account, select the Provider Information tab. This tab is available only if the user is a provider.

  2. Click (or tap) in the Provider appointment color box.

  3. Do any of the following:

    • To change the hue, click (or tap) the desired area on the hue strip, or drag the slider to the desired area on the hue strip.

    • To change the tint, click (or tap) the desired area on the tint box.

    • To change the RGB (red-green-blue) hexadecimal value, enter the desired value in the RGB box.

    A comparison of the original color and the new color appears for your reference.

  4. Click (or tap) Choose.

  5. Set up or change other options (on this and other tabs) for the user account as needed, and then click (or tap) Save.
