ePrescribe.

ePrescribe. (Duration 4:00)
Key Information
To create prescriptions, the ePrescribe user type must be “Doctor” or
“Prescribe-on-Behalf” (POB). POB users can prepare controlled
substance prescriptions for doctors (to complete later) and prescribe
non-controlled substances.
In the Choose Sig screen, click
Library – Admin & Dosage to open the Lexicomp® for
Dentistry website. This site displays medical and dental information
for the medication you want to prescribe.
Clicking Add to Script Pad adds the last prescription
created to the electronic prescription pad, displays any warnings for
all medications on the pad, processes the prescription(s), and then
displays the current Script Pad — with all its prescriptions — for you
to review and change if needed.

In addition to sending a prescription to a pharmacy, ePrescribe offers
the following options:
Print the prescription and give it to the patient.
Have the prescription sent to an assistant to complete it.
Select Patient Reported to document a prescription
in ePrescribe. For example, this prescription may have been phoned
or faxed to a pharmacy.
