ERA Registration with Henry Schein One
Introduction
The first step to set up ERAs to work with Dentrix is to register your version of Dentrix with Henry Schein One. Later, you'll complete the second step, enrolling with insurance carriers.
The following items are required for ERAs to function in Dentrix:
- eSync plug-in for eEOBs
- Dentrix eClaims
- eCentral Insurance Manager
- Dentrix G5.2 or newer (some older versions may work but with reduced performance)

Registration
Use one of the following methods to register for ERAs with Henry Schein One.
Register via the Ledger
Perform the following steps to register by using the Dentrix Ledger:
- Open the Ledger and click File > Enter Batch Ins. Payment (or, click the Batch Insurance Payment Entry button).

- In the Batch Entry Type group box, select the Register for Electronic EOBs button. This will open the Dentrix eEOB Website, where you can click the Get Started button.
- Complete the Registration Information form, and click Submit.
Register via the Henry Schein One eServices Sales Team
The eServices sales team will be happy to step you through the entire registration process and ensure that you have everything you need for ERAs to function with Dentrix. To register with eServices sales, call 800.734.5561, option 2.
What Happens Next?
Within 24 to 48 business hours after registration, you'll receive two separate emails: one will be a Welcome Letter with your user name and the other email will have your password. Together, the user name and password are your credentials for the enrollment services website, managed by Dental Connect. Here you'll enroll with insurance carriers to which you submit claims and which participates in ERAs.
Key Information
- Even after you register with Henry Schein One, the registration button in the Ledger will continue to appear until the first ERA is received.
- The password email has a temporary password that you should change after you access Dental Connect's website. (Keep your password secure and easy to remember.) Also, the user name from the Welcome Letter will be used as your eClaims User ID when you enroll with insurance carriers.

- Consider the following concerning eClaims:
- To use the ERA service, you must process claims with eClaims in Dentrix. Therefore, eClaims must be installed and working with your version Dentrix. To register for eClaims, call eServices support at 800.734.5561, option 1. For more information about eClaims, visit the Dentrix eClaims website.
- Your ERA account will not be fully set up until you begin processing eClaims with Dentrix.
