Filtering clinical notes

In the Signature Manager, you can filter clinical notes by date, date range, provider, or status.

To filter clinical notes

1.   Open the Signature Manager.

The Signature Manager window appears.

2.   To filter by date or date range, click the date box (default is Today), and then select one of the options in the list, or type the desired dates in M/d/yyyy - M/d/yyyy to set a custom range.

Note: If the selected date range does not include today's date, click the Refresh button.

3.   To sort the list by column, do one of the following:

·        Appt. Date – By default, all entries are sorted by date starting with the most recent. To change the sort order from most recent to least recent, click Appt. Date. Click the heading again to return the list to its default.

·        Note Date – Click to sort by note date. Click the heading again to return the list to its default.

·        Patient – Click to sort by patient. Click the heading again to return the list to its default.

·        Provider – Click to sort by provider. Click the heading again to return the list to its default.

·        Status – Click to sort by status. Click the heading again to return the list to its default.

4.   To change the default filters, click the + Filters button.

The Filters list appears.

5.   Select the desired filters, and then click Apply.

The Signature Manager filters the list according to your selections.
