The Prescriptions module includes a report that you can use to see which drugs have been prescribed to which patients in a date range.
To print the Prescriptions Report
1. From any Dentrix module except the Office Manager, select a patient.
2. In the toolbar, click Prescriptions.
The Patient Prescriptions dialog box appears.
3. Click Reports.
The Prescriptions Report dialog box appears.
4. To print prescriptions for a range of patients, click Range, and then type the starting patient's name in the From text box and the ending patient's name in the To text box.
Note: The default setting is to print the report for the selected (specific) patient. To change patients, click the search button and select the patient from the Select Patient dialog box.
5. Select the medication or medications that you want to see listed on the report.
Tip: To select more than one medication, do one of the following: Press the Ctrl key, and then click the medications you want to include, or click Select All to include all medications on the report.
Only the prescriptions created for the selected medications are listed.
6. Select the provider or providers you want to include on the report.
Tip: To select more than one provider, do one of the following: Press the Ctrl key, and then click the providers you want to include; click Select All to include all providers’ prescriptions on the report; or click List Inactive to include those providers who no longer belong to your practice.
7. Under Date Range, edit or accept the default range.
Only the prescriptions created during the date range are listed on the report.
8. Under Sort By, do one of the following:
· Select Patient to sort the report alphabetically by patient.
· Select Drug to sort the report by drug name.
9. To print the report, click Print.
The report prints to the printer you selected in the Prescription Setup dialog box.
